WE STILL HAVE SPOTS FOR OUR 2023 SUMMER PROGRAM!
Under the direction of Diane Woodside, our Gallo Summer Sk8 Program is ONLY offered during the summer. Our summer 6-week program is offered @ $75 (PLUS a $17.25 self-registration fee with USFS) & includes a 1/2 hour group lesson with a 1/2 hour practice time. Students are overseen by our Instructors Bretti & Dr. Ali Keohane, & their youth sk8er-volunteers. Call Diane @ Gallo for registration information @ 508-759-8904 (x3) for the summer of 2023!
PLEASE NOTE: the Bourne Skating Club, a SEPARATE entity, runs THEIR group lesson program @ Gallo too during the fall, winter, & spring… check them out on our Home Page or on our LINKS!
Almost all year round, Gallo also offers JUST ADULTS under the direction of Karen Lambert. Simply show up to this weekly class with your completed application (see Rink Lobby) & $10. Sessions are not usually held during the summer months.
Tips For All Skaters
- BREATHE!
- Skaters should wear comfortable/warm clothing so movements will not be restricted!
- Gloves/Mittens/Helmets are a good idea too (bike, ski, or hockey helmets are acceptable)!
- Stand-up TALL, you will not FALL!
- Keep your head up & look forward (not @ your feet;)!
- Kindly use the benches located on the lower level runway to change into & out of your sk8s!
- All sk8s should be sharpened!
